The above poster and film trailer show a sense of magic especially in the poster with all the bubble floating around the film poster. Again this poster and the trailer do not give much away it is sort of leaving a question mark over the film which is leaving people to think what the film is about and why these people are on the poster and in the trailer. Film companies use this mysterious technique in order to offer a sense of mystery so people feel the need to go and watch. With the young girl in the corner who immediately catches your eyes automatically shows a sense of loneliness and also illness because she has no hair on show and is wearing a bandanner which is asosiated to cancer so this small picture in the corner gives the biggest clue to what the film is about. The colouring of the film poster is very plain and shows a calm atmosphere but as it goes further down the page it shows a more darker atmosphere around the child in the corners illness. As well as leaving a sense of mystery just watching even the first phew secounds of the film trailer you can see that it challenges certain political topics that we see in every day life. but as in the poster even with these contrversial topics it does not give that much away. The trailer itself gives a lot more information about the film like you find out what the childs illness is and who the other are. but it is still highly secrative with you not knowing if the child lives or dies. It leaves them on a cliff hanger which makes people want to go and see the film
Also the bubbles show she is trying to be normal by doing normal child things. All in all the poster and trailer show a calm but mysterious atmosphere with a sense of sadness with the young girl in the corner.
