Props

Prop list.
In my film I did not use many props that we visible on screen. Except for a mike and mike stand which I acquired from my young actress.

I used several props that were not visible on screen one being a shower cap which was used to hide Rebecca’s hair in the filming scenes. Also several clips were used to hide several parts of hair which were visible when the hat was placed on.

Costume was a major part of my film there were several things i wanted to bring across such as her illness and skinnyness and pailness of her face. In order to do this i put a dark coloured hat on her face which made it look a lot bigger than her and also by that being such a bold colour it made her face look paler. also by rebecca being a gignger haired girl her natural tone of skin is pail.in order to show her skinnyness which automatically help the illness come across a lot more. i made her wear skinny jeans which enphasised the skinnyness of her legs but before she becomes un well. then i mad eher wear a very big cardy which showed again her illness and also due to it coloring made her looook a lot pailer. The gloves she insisted to wear due to it being cold but i feel it makes a good effect of again the illnees. I felt that it was crucial to focus all the costumes around the illness and using things which giver the impact of showing that she is un well.

This is my poster mock i feel that it gives a clear idea of what the film is about and also it gives a clear understanding of the main character will be. at the same time my poster is liable to change.

magazine mock up

This is my magazine mock up I feel that it iwll give ultimate expoltion to my main image and making sure that it is the main focus of the cover. I feel that this design is wee organised and contains everything I will need. at the same time i am leaving the design open for change.

maga analysis 2

In order to get a full awareness of a film magazine front cover we needed to analyse two front covers. I decided to use total film magazine. I have decided to use two action films because it offer a lot substance for me to analyse. Firstly the main image is a very in your face and takes up the majority of the film magazine front cover. It show several elements of the film that it is an action modern film that will be quite fast pacing. It also draws in the eye of the reader to the machine gun which is firing out into the sky. This is quite a clever thing that they have done because they have positioned the title below so this draws in the readers eye tot eh title of the film. As well as the main image being the focus of the film they have also used several sub titles which is giving the reader and idea into what is happening inside the magazine again drawing the reader into read a lot more. Also there are several puffs around the magazine which indicate special offer and also what is going on in the magazine. All of the special techniques images and heading have all got one purpose of and that Is to draw the reader in. also one of the other things which is rather clever is the colour scheme of the cover due to the title being the green hornet they have used a green colour scheme for most of the magazine with only certain bit like the machine gun as not a shade of green. The masthead itself has been not made to look as big and noticeable due to the publisher relying on the film itself to sell the magazine not the name of it. Total film only does this with big blockbuster films. Otherwise they use the title to sell the film by using empowering colours.

Cast

The people above are two actresses i used for my film. the Lady on the right being Pauline Cunningham and the Girl on the Left being Rebecca Connor. I decided to use a all female cast becuase i felt it gave a more emotional feel to the film itself than a male would. I also made sure the age diference was drastic to becuase people tend to have soft spots for the older person or younger child in a film. The acting ability of these two people has been to high level and you can tell through the whole trailer they are very talented.

One being my Grandmas kitchen p i felt this was a ideal place to film the dance becuase it has quite a family and authentic cottagy feel about it. which added to the warmth shown by the character townards her

Two my sisters room. i decided to film her dancing ina girly bedroom so i decided to use my sisters room becuase it is a typical young girls room. so it will show what a typical girl she really is

Three was the local bowling green which had a autumn affect with several piles of leaves whichwere easily acessable. i thought this place give a auora of tranquility but at the same time a sense of alone becuase not many people go there

this is my production log the key matched the colours on the table. I porduced my Trailer over a six week period. One of the main problems that developed were uploading my song on to my blog and once it was on my blog it took me a while in order to see were to time the song witht he actions. this took up most of the six weeks with me needing to this on most scenes

this is my filming log for autumn leaves. the key coresponds with the clours on the chart. The only problem that i developed during filming was illness of my actor during the friday and saturday. And also in some scenens the weather was not good so we had to wait a lot longer which made filming even the samllest scenes a big task.
